EDI Procedures


Electronic data interchange (EDI) is an electronic communication system that provides standards for exchanging data via any electronic means.

By adhering to the same standard, two different companies, even in two different countries, can electronically exchange documents

The standard used by Co.Na.Te.Co. Terminal is:

United Nations/Electronic Data Interchange For Administration, Commerce and Transport (UN/EDIFACT) is the international EDI standard developed under the United Nations.

The files used:

COARRI
(Vessel Load/Discharge)

CODECO
(Gate-In/Gate-Out Moves)

COPRAR
(Container Load/Discharge Order)

COPARN
(Empty release order message)

BAPLIE
(Bay Plan)

Ship Operations:

For ship operations the Terminal shall work 24 hrs/daily, seven days/weekly, with the following exceptions:

Jan. 1st 
not workable

May 1st
not workable

Dec. 25th
not workable

Dec. 24th
not workable during the 3rd and 4th shift

Dec. 31st
not workable during the 3rd and 4th shift

The above mentioned  shall be carried out in shifts as follows:

Shift 1: from 06:00 to 12:00

Shift 2: from 12:00 to 18:00

Shift 3: from 18:00 to 24:00

Shift 4: from 24:00 to 06:00

Note: Co.Na.Te.Co. reserves the right to change the scheme of shifts working hours.

Reciving and Delivering Containers

For receiving and delivering containers, as well as to make operations at the C.F.S. warehouse, the working hours are the following:


At gate / yard
At CFS-W.se
Monday to Friday
from 07:00 to 22:00
from 08:00 to 17:00
Saturdays
from 08:00 to 13:00
not operative
Sundays
not operative
not operative

With exception on the following days during which the terminal is not operative for such functions:
Jan. 1st;  Jan. 6th;  Easter Holiday;  Apr. 25th;  May 1st;  Aug. 15th;  Sep. 19th; Nov. 1st;  Dec. 8th;  Dec. 25th;  Dec. 26th.
